South Potomac Church Guidelines for Inclement Weather & Closings
The Elders and Staff of South Potomac Church aim to provide clear and concise communication in the event of inclement weather. The safety and wellbeing of our church family is of utmost importance. When inclement weather occurs that affects our Sunday morning gatherings, any decision to close the church or to cancel activities will be made by the Senior Pastor and Elders, who then will inform the staff, ministry leaders (who then can inform their volunteers) and congregation about any closings as soon as possible. Once the decision is made, the following will be updated:

- Church App
- Church office voice mail (301) 392-5730
- A Church-Wide email will be sent.
- A push notification will be sent via mobile phone.
We will follow the same guidelines above for inclement weather that occurs during the week. If possible, evening ministries will be cancelled by 3:00 pm. Once the decision is made, the following will be updated:
