What's Happening at SPC

Sunday, July 19, we will have Evangelism Training. We will learn methods for consistently sharing the gospel message and explore approaches to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ wherever God may lead us. We will meet in the Worship Center following the service.

Come join us ALL SUMMER  on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 until 8:15 p.m. for a study on how the Bible tells a single story of God reconciling humanity to Himself as presented in the Gospel of the beloved disciple John. We will engage in lively discussions of the personal application of Scripture to our walk with Christ. Hope to see you there!

Plan to spend time having fun, food, and fellowship on Sunday, July 19, following service, at our SPC Summer Potluck Cookout. Bring your favorite dish to share. Please join us on Sunday, July 19, following the service, for our Membership Class. If you want to be a part of what God is doing here at SPC, this class will provide a deeper understanding of SPC's mission and the importance of membership.

Plan to attend Let's Talk Marriage, by SPC Marriage Ministry, on Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. It will be a time for all married couples to engage in insightful conversations and receive encouragement in all areas of our marriages. Mark your calendars for SPC Praise Flow! We’re excited to invite all 6th-12th grade students and young adults aged 18-30 to come together for a worship experience on Friday, July 17. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m., and we’ll kick things off with worship at 6:15 p.m.
We’ll have pizza and snacks!

Come out on Saturday, July 25, as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our community! We will visit the Bensville Crossing community (Waldorf) to talk about Jesus and offer prayers to anyone who desires it. We will gather at SPC at 10 am for prayer and instructions, and then go forth to show the love of Christ. We will return to SPC around 12:30 pm for a debrief and closing prayer.

Please save the date for Sunday, September 13, at Noon, for our SPC Church-Wide Meeting. All SPC members are encouraged to attend.
